Heavy Metals in Fertilizers

Government Info

Government Regulations state:

a) Inorganic commercial fertilizer and agricultural mineral products shall not exceed the following standards for the non-nutrient metals arsenic, cadmium and lead:
1) For each percent of iron, manganese or zinc, the fertilizer material shall not exceed the following concentrations of non-nutrient metals: Arsenic 13 ppm; Cadmium 12 ppm; Lead 140 ppm.

As the required standards are getting tougher in later years, we are supplying you the information to compare our data with requirements for the year of 2004 which has the highest standards.

Section 2302. a) paragraph (C) Effective January 1, 2004: Arsenic, 2 ppm; Cadmium, 4 ppm; Lead 20 ppm.
