Shipping, biology and release: Bio-Pests-B-Gone is a formulation of beneficial nematodes-microscopic, non-segmented worms that occur naturally in soil throughout the world. Once
released, the nematodes seek out their host, enter through body openings, emit an endo-toxin and death occurs within 48 hours.
Nematodes are shipped in an easily dissolved clay formulation that you mix with
water. The solution can be applied using a watering can; hose end, backpack, or pump sprayers; or through irrigation or misting systems. Release early in the morning or predusk
when temperatures are cooler and the sun is not so bright. Generally, 1 vial of Bio-Pests-B-Gone Beneficial Nematodes will effectively treat approximately 3,200 sq. ft. Make
releases every 2-3 weeks or until infestation subsides. Bio-Pests-B-Gone Beneficial Nematodes can be stored in the refrigerator up to two months at 33º F (do not
freeze!).
TERMITE CONTROL:
Apply Bio-Pests-B-Gone Beneficial Nematodes the same as you would chemical termiticides. One vial will dilute into 40 gallons of water, which treats 40
linear feet of foundation. Apply through tubes inserted around the building perimeter. Bio-Pests-B-Gone Beneficial Nematodes are washed into the termite tubes, tunnels, and
nest, or they migrate on their own. Once inside the nest, they kill the colony by killing the queens or by killing enough workers and soldiers that the queens starve.
