Tips:

Make your own casting tea, using 1 tablespoon per gallon of water. Let it sit for 2+ hours, then use to water your plants.

My hibiscus look great, by the way.  I put 20lb of pure worm castings directly on each one.  The bugs are ALL gone, took two or three weeks.  Overkill, probably, but it didn't hurt the plants, and I won't have to get out there again probably 'til next year.

The above Palms are fed with the Agrowinn's Palm Food 5-2-4.  In fact, this entire property is organically fertilized.

Tips:

Apply 1 lbs of Palm Food per inch of trunk diameter (if space permits), otherwise make multiple applications.

Palms and Cycads are the only species in which fertilizer can be applied towards the trunk.

The above two photos illustrate the best way to prepare the root area around your palms or bird of paradise to best apply Agrowinn Minerals and Palm Food 5-2-4.

In the After photo, there is now space to apply the fertilizer -- which also puts less pressure on the root system of the tree.
